Respected citizens and football fans of Seongnam city!

It feels like yesterday that we celebrated the year 2000, now we find ourselves in the year 2005.

Already five years have passed since we moved to Seongnam city. I would like to extend my heartfelt appreciation for your continuous concern and interest in the Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma Football Club.

The team officials and players will do their utmost best in returning your support and love for our team. Although we were able to enjoy the taste of victory in last year’s A3 Tournament and Samsung Hauzen Cup 2004 Championship, we also experienced the bitter taste of defeat during the AFC Champions League Final. We have learned many things from that defeat; we will engrave the lessons we learned that day and use it to move forward to our next victory.

Your encouragement and attention gives us strength and with this we will work to revive our club and once more recover the pride of this team.

We will do everything we can to reclaim the 2005 K-League Championship. In 2005 the Seongnam Ilhwa Chunma Football Club will once more shine again as Asia's Best Football Club!
